The one and only DISCO PETS is back online! I’m sorry I couldn’t blog for a while I guess I accidentally turned on airplane mode and couldn’t turn it off. I’m just joking with you it’s just that I started doing gymnastics for a change and it was and is great. I learned how to do a straddle dismount, a front flip, front walkover, back walkover, front bonder, and a front handspring on the floor with no help at all. I love how the coaches are so nice and kind to us and how funny and cool they are! They taught me a lot and I think they deserve a round of applause and a lot of love and respect so that’s what I’ll give them. And I know some of you might be wondering what its called so ill tell you its called Dream Elite Gymnastics, and if you do decide to go there I hope you enjoy it like I did. Well, that’s all for today hope you enjoyed this paragraph DISCO PETS out.

My Magical Garden

My Magical Adventure

I was playing a game called Magical Garden when all of a sudden I got struck by lightning and I broke into millions of pieces. Then the force of the wind carried me away into the mist. I walked towards the light and tripped on a rock then I stood up. The dark rainy clouds soon cleared and I noticed the ravishing shimmers from the fresh green grass that had just collected enough raindrops to shine from the sun above.

All that water made me dying of thirst so I looked around and saw a waterfall. But it wasn’t just any waterfall. It was a chocolate waterfall for it was made out of chocolate milk. I ran over there faster than a blink of an eye and took a few gulps. Suddenly I felt a little cold so I walked up to the top of the waterfall. I saw a rock that looked warm and I stepped on it. Then I tippy-toed on it, and I tried to reach as far up to the sun as possible when all of a sudden I slipped and fell back into the waterfall.

Luckily, my white cloak magically appeared before I went over the waterfall edge. I put the cloak on my back and proceeded to fly over the edge of the waterfall. It was a very steep drop but the cloak protected me from any harm. Once I hit the bottom, I swam to the edge and rested under a tree. I was resting, when all of a sudden the tree moved. I looked up and realized that it was not a tree, it was a dragon! I jumped up and screamed really loud, then ran as fast as a cheetah.

I ran under, over, and around the trees until I found a hut, where I ran inside to hide. I was so tired that I fell asleep. When I woke up I heard giant roars and growls outside of the hut. I looked out and saw the dragon lying on the ground injured. I was nervous but I walked outside and found a scrap of wool and I wrapped it around the dragon’s wing. Then I realized he might also be hungry. So I found an apple tree nearby. I picked a few apples that were the size of the moon. And took them over to the dragon. He gobbled them up and like magic his injured wing was instantly healed. I made a bed under the apple tree for him, and all night the magic from the apple tree protected him.

In the morning I woke up in a beautiful rose garden with my magical dragon friend. He was devouring every single rose bush chomping and swallowing them up. “Did you bring me to the rose bush garden”? I asked him. He replied saying yes. “Yes, I did because I wanted to thank you by telling you the way back to your home”. I rushed over to him then questioned him. “HOW”? “You have to travel to the Crystal Cave that leads into the Dolphin Seatrain in which you will be aboard for 12 hours. In the end, there will be a door, the key to open it is made out of 3 good memories from your family”.

My dragon friend flew me over to the Crystal Cave and dropped me inside. I gave him a big hug goodbye and thanked him for his help. Then I walked to the end of the cave and saw the seatrain. I proceeded to board it, and just after it started moving, I fell asleep and slept like a rock. The 12 hours flew by because by the time I woke up from my nap we had arrived at the destination. On the loudspeaker, I could hear the dolphin saying “exit this way please, to planet earth”. I followed the directions and came across the door.

I thought to myself, what are my three favorite memories? First, I remembered how much I loved it when I and my Mom went to Disneyland. Second, I recalled when my Dad gave me my favorite stuffed animal dog that I love so much! Suddenly the door started to shake. One more memory! Last, I remembered Christmas when my amazing sisters woke me up with a bear hug sandwich, to tell me it’s time to open presents. Viola! The door swung open, I quickly ran through and fell onto my chair, where I looked over and saw the board game I had been playing before I got struck by lightning. I looked up and saw my sister Taylor getting ready to put her game piece down on the starting line. I quickly yelled “Wait! We should play a different game”!

Amazing Accomplished Art

My drawings are all successes for me, but these are the best I ever made.

The top black and white sketch was made when I was seven years old. I learned how to sketch from my art teacher, Mrs. Anna. I call the piece The Woman with the Guitar. The reason I came up with this extraordinary name is I dreamed of a girl who loved to play the guitar and one night she adored it so much she fell asleep with it. In the morning, she had become the guitar. So when she awoke in the morning, she had a guitar as a body! She grew up with it her whole life. That is my story of how I got the idea for The Woman with the Guitar.

Here is my second piece called Spectacular Space Sportsmanship.  It guides you when you are lost in space to tell you which path to take.  This one I made when I was also seven, and people thought it was unbelievable. Jupiterman got me in track for drawing a spaceship in space heading towards the moon and the moon in my story is a person that helps people know where they are. That person also helps tell them how to get to places they need to go.

My creations I will always honor with love, amazement, hope and with extreme trust.

Which one is your favorite and why?

Can you share some of your drawings?

Chris Van Allsburg’s Books!

Jun - 05 2020 | no comments | By

Do you adore Chris Van Allsburg’s books as much as I do or more? Probably not because I love them a lot and they are part of my favorites along with his illustrations. Come with me to find out why I love them so much and why I think he is one of the best picture book writers!

One reason I love his books is that the illustrations are marvelous! They share the feeling of the character’s emotions and make it come to life. For instance, in one picture in The Widow’s Broom,  the broom is feeding the chickens and it is in the middle of spreading the chicken seeds. The illustrations are so realistic that it feels like it is happening in real life. When I am reading, it almost seems like I am right in the story, hearing the chickens cluck, and eating their food.

Another reason why he is one of the best writers is because of the spectacular twists he includes in many of his stories. For example, in The Garden of Abdul Gasazi, there is a really great twist involving a dog and a hat. I don’t want to give the twist away, but I’ll tell you why his twists are outstanding. The twists he makes hook you into the book so you can not stop reading no matter how tired you are. They can be so interesting, you try to imagine what will happen, but then he will shock you with an unexpected outcome. Great twists like that, I think is what makes him one of the best.

In conclusion, this creative writer has many strengths that make him remarkable. His incredible illustrations and terrific twists are just two of the reasons why I think he is one of the best picture book writers! Now have I convinced you to start reading his extraordinary books? Here are some of my favorite books I recommend. The Widows Broom, The Garden of Abdul Gasazi, Bad Day At Riverbend, and Two Bad Ants.

Double Trouble Dogs!

Tobbie and Copper are both vizslas and trouble makers in many different ways.

Tobbie eats everything in the kitchen! For instance, he adores avocados, cookies 🍪, dinner, and many other foods.

Did I say foods? I meant things. Tobbie also likes to go in the Jacuzzi, and he takes the best jet 😥.

But for Copper… COPPER HATES WATER! There I said it. Copper does hate water I do not know why.

Another passion of his is pulling Tobbie’s collar and bossing him all around.🚱💦💧. Copper has a passion for playing fetch for five days straight, but we can’t do that. So we do it for about an hour straight… well at least we try to. We start when we have a lot of free time and for us to finish we just throw the ball and wait then go inside with Copper 🐕.

What does your dog do?

If you have a dog does he like to play fetch or play in water?
